Custom and net-new: ChainOfThought

Everything in this proposal that is not plain PDS v2. npm run check:tokens reads this file: each net-new class, custom CSS variable and raw value found in the code must appear here in backticks.

Net-new components

  • .pds-chain-of-thought — A collapsible list.
    • Parts and modifiers: .pds-chain-of-thought--coding, .pds-chain-of-thought--m, .pds-chain-of-thought--reasoning, .pds-chain-of-thought--search, .pds-chain-of-thought__icon, .pds-chain-of-thought__icon--open, .pds-chain-of-thought__list

Uses another proposal's classes

Chain of Thought styles rows of Timeline (../Timeline/): .pds-timeline-item--quiet, .pds-timeline-item__label.

Additions to existing PDS components

None.

Net-new props

All props of ChainOfThoughtProps are new (net-new component).

Custom CSS variables

  • --timeline-gap — set on .pds-chain-of-thought__list; overrides the Timeline entry spacing for this list.
  • --chain-of-thought-indent — set on .pds-chain-of-thought

Raw values kept on purpose

None.
